  • Single Mothers Family Camps

    Single Mothers Family Camps

We have been offering a family camp for single moms and their children for over 25 years and love the opportunity to support this community. Last year we had so much interest in the event that we had to turn people away – something we never want to do. So this year, we are offering TWO Single Mother’s Family Camps!

This camp is very similar to our other Family Camps in structure. Families will have the opportunity to do activities, attend services, and spend quality time together. Childcare is available during services with age-appropriate programming facilitated by our staff.

Registration for both Single Mother’s Family Camps will open in January!

When you register for this camp you will be automatically waitlisted – this does not mean the camp is full! Families that need help with the cost of Single Mother’s Family Camp can apply for subsidy to cover part of the cost. This means that we have to manually go through and process each registration. Once we have processed your registration, you will be taken off the waitlist.

If you have any questions about registration or subsidy, please email daylene@campnakamun.com

    Dates:

    Single Mother’s Family Camp 1 | May 9 – 11

  • Staff Leadership Training (SLT)

    Staff Leadership Training (SLT)

We offer two Staff Camps per summer. The first is Staff Leadership Training (SLT). This camp is incredibly important, as it is our opportunity to train and equip our staff to do their jobs in the summer, and it is their opportunity to become familiar with camp, their role here, and with each other. All summer staff (Paid Positions and Volunteer Positions) are required to attend SLT. Paid Positions will be working this week, and Volunteer Positions will have to register for the camp online. The registration process for SLT includes volunteer applications.

Please note: when you register for SLT you will be automatically waitlisted – this does not mean the camp if full! We will go through the application forms and manually place you in the camp. Once that happens you will be able to pay the registration fee. All registration fees must be paid by June 1st.

Staff Leadership Training (SLT) | June 30 – July 3
